Properties

Teeming with native flora and fauna, the tranquil coves and mountainsides of Drovers Road Preserve are home to a bounty of plants. Carolina Hemlock, beech, hickory, and a half-dozen rare plant species are scattered amid the old-growth forest. Preserving these natural resources as well as the area’s historic artifacts defines the Drovers Road mission.

Homesite areas are organized around the property’s three signature features: Meadows, Mountains, and Woodlands. Scroll down to view available properties.

Meadowview Homesites

Houses on these gently rolling sites are positioned along the wooded edge at the rear of each lot, facing broad open meadows.

Woodland Homesites

Set among lush stands of oak and hickory, these sites offer a perfect combination of breathtaking views and comfortable seclusion. Homes will be primarily of wood, to be at one with the surrounding vegetation.

Mountain View Homesites

Nestled among the Preserve’s higher forests, these sites offer incomparable views of the nearby valleys and distant mountains. The stone and wood of the rocky forest environment should inform designs for homes on these sites.
